COVID-19 Protocols
MITICI Adventures takes our client’s health and safety very seriously. As such, we are closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic both stateside and in Italy and continue to adjust our protocols according to the latest guidance from US and Italian authorities. These policies aim to ensure the safety of each traveler in your group and local citizens we come in contact with during your travels. As these protocols are constantly changing, we can discuss these policies as they apply to you during our planning process.
You may find the following resources helpful to monitor the situation as new information unfolds. Please note that some of these resources are in Italian.
The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control is a good resource in English that reports at the country level.
The Worldometers site is a great way to visually analyze the current COVID-19 statistics in Italy.
This site gets its information from Johns Hopkins and is a good way to see worldwide cases for comparison. This site reports in cases per million, not per 100,000.
Although students will be expected to follow local and national guidelines in Italy, the CDC provides important information about overseas travel and protecting oneself and others during the pandemic.
